Personal Savings Allowance
You may be entitled to up to £1,000 of tax free interest known as your savings allowance, the amount of your savings allowance is dependent on what income tax band you are in.

| Basic rate | £1,000 |
| Higher Rate | £500 |
| Additional Rate | £0 |
If you exceed the savings allowance, you will pay tax at your usual rate of tax. ISAs do not count towards your personal savings allowance.
