Oakhaven Hospice write a Will month
This September, Oakhaven has teamed up with local solicitors and estate planners who will waive their usual Will writing fee in return for a donation to Oakhaven Hospice.
Your life is full of milestones; house purchase, marriage, children or divorce… To ensure that your wishes remain current, your Will should be updated, so why not utilise the write a Will month to make those changes – your donation will make a difference to the families that Oakhaven cares for throughout the New Forest, Totton and Wasterside communities.
Having an up-to-date Will ensures that your wishes are met after your death. You can look after family and friends and support the causes you care about most.
Leaving a gift in your Will can be highly tax-efficient way of giving to charity and supporting your community.
Follow these three simple steps:
1) Book your appointment
Contact one of the participating solicitors/estate planners and book an appointment between the 19 August and the 30 September 2024. Each firm has a limited number of appointments which can take place. Check before making the appointment if there are any specific criteria.
2) Pay for your Will
£250 for a simple Will and £450 for a simple mirror Will. You can make the payment on their website – oakhavenhospice.co.uk/write-a-will.
3) Take your receipt confirming payment on the day of your appointment with your chosen solicitor/estate planner
