Accessibility and Inclusion Statement

Our commitment

HWB Accountants is committed to providing an inclusive, accessible and supportive service to all clients, prospective clients, visitors and members of the public. We aim to ensure that no individual is placed at a disadvantage when accessing our services due to disability, long‑term health conditions or other accessibility needs.

We recognise our responsibilities under the Equality Act 2010 and are committed to making reasonable adjustments to ensure our services are accessible to everyone.

Accessible services

We offer flexibility in how our services are delivered to accommodate individual circumstances and preferences, including:

  • Meetings at our fully accessible office premises
  • Home visits, where meetings can take place in the comfort of your own home
  • Meetings at another preferred or suitable venue, where appropriate
  • Remote meetings via telephone or secure video conferencing
  • Flexible appointment times where required
  • Support with communication methods to suit individual needs

If you have specific requirements, please let us know so that appropriate arrangements can be made.

Our premises

Our offices are already designed to support accessibility. We have step‑free access via a ramp, a ground‑floor meeting room and accessible facilities. Where meetings take place at our offices, we will ensure suitable arrangements are in place to support mobility, sensory or other access requirements.

If you have any particular needs, we ask that you inform us in advance so we can make any necessary preparations.

Communication and information

We aim to communicate clearly, respectfully and considerately. Information can be provided in alternative formats where reasonably practicable, including:

  • Plain English or simplified explanations
  • Large‑print documents
  • Electronic copies of documents

We are happy to discuss communication preferences to ensure information is accessible and clearly understood.

Online and remote services

Many of our services can be provided remotely using secure systems, reducing the need for travel. Where remote access is preferred or required, we will work with you to ensure this is straightforward and effective.

Letting us know your needs

We recognise that accessibility requirements vary from person to person. If you have a disability, health condition or other circumstances that may affect how you access our services, please let us know. All information will be handled sensitively and confidentially.
