Receptionist/Administrative Assistant
Chandler’s Ford, Hampshire
37.5 hours per week, 8:30am – 5:00pm
An established and successful accountancy firm in Chandlers Ford, we provide accountancy, audit and taxation services to both individuals and companies.
We are looking for a friendly, organised and professional Receptionist / Administrator to join our busy Southampton office.
This is a key front of house role, acting as the first point of contact for clients and visitors, while also providing essential administrative support to the wider team.
The Ideal Candidate
- Confident using Microsoft Word and Excel, with good IT skills
- Professional telephone manner and strong customer service skills
- Well organised, able to prioritise and multitask
- Calm, friendly and welcoming
- Positive, reliable and willing to learn new systems
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ideally previously in a customer facing role as customer service is key.
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to build rapport and relationships at all levels both internally and externally.
About The Role
- Answering and directing calls via the switchboard
- Welcoming clients and visitors and managing reception
- Coordinating meeting rooms, diaries and refreshments
- Managing incoming and outgoing post and scanning documents
- Maintaining office, reception and meeting areas
- Ordering office and kitchen supplies
- Supporting billing, engagement letters and general administration
- Assisting secretarial teams and directors as required
